While not actually a Car Mascot, this piece was manufactured based on the Jacques Cartier example, as a paperweight.

Original silver plated solid bronze paperweight commercialized by American luxury accessories firm Nil Melior. Based on the popular cartoon character of the French Sunday paper ” Zig et Puce ” created by Alain de Saint-Ogan, named Alfred the Penguin. Very similar to the radiator car mascot by Jacques Cartier also commercialized by the same firm.

Used as a very popular lucky charm like Saint Christopher pieces.

In fantastic original condition. Silver plating at +95 with minor scratches and discoloration. The piece is marked on one side of the base NIL MELIOR Co. It measures 12cm tall and it is displayed in its original turned wooden base.
