C.1925 Running Faun Car Mascot by A.Schmidt

Interesting automobile radiator mascot by German sculptor A. Schmidt. It depicts a running faun with its arms supporting its belly. This type of figurine was very common among the motifs used for this purpose, but it is still a highly sought-after piece among collectors. It measures 5.7 inches tall, not including the radiator cap, which is made of bronze and bakelite. The faun is made of bronze, with a beautiful patina achieved over the years. The base is signed A. Schmidt.
