  • Famous glass car mascot by renowned glassmaker René Lalique. Introduced in 1928 with the name Tête de Coq, this amazing rooster's head in glass is a truly art on wheels. Measures 16cm x 15cm aprox. Very good condition. Large peak on backside of crest seems to have been polished at some point in history, now featuring two peaks. Signed Lalique France in the correct moulded signature.

  • One of the 29 designs of car mascots by René Lalique. This original pre war example of the Sanglier (wild boar) is as beautiful as it was back in the late 1920s. Measures 6,5cm x 9,0cm aprox. Very good condition. Clear glass. Small (2mm chip) at the top edge of the round base. Clear moulded mark R Lalique France between legs and stencilled R Lalique France under the base.

  • A beautiful automobile radiator mascot by master sculptor Antoine Bofill. By vividly depicting an owl, the artist brings this popular theme to life within the world of radiator mascots. Crafted in bronze with a beautiful patina, it is signed by Bofill and stamped by the MAM foundry. It is displayed on a large radiator cap. It measures approximately 11.5 cm (not including the radiator cap). A similar piece is described and photographed in Michel Legrand's renowned book "Mascots Passion" on page 197, plate 558.

  • A highly sought after car mascot in pure Art Deco style by probably, one of the most talented artists of that period, the Martel brothers. A flying bird  with clean lines and artistic grace. Of the different mascots designed by the brothers Martel, this example appeared in the catalogs of French automobile accessories firms such us Mestre et Blatgé and Auto-Omnia. Measures 15cm aprox. Silver plated bronze. Signed J.Martel and marked MADE IN FRANCE. Bolted to a period radiator cap. Similar example is described and photographed in M.Legrand's book " Mascottes Art déco - Collection de Tom van Oostende ", on page 20.

  • Interesting automobile radiator mascot by German sculptor A. Schmidt. It depicts a running faun with its arms supporting its belly. This type of figurine was very common among the motifs used for this purpose, but it is still a highly sought-after piece among collectors. It measures 5.7 inches tall, not including the radiator cap, which is made of bronze and bakelite. The faun is made of bronze, with a beautiful patina achieved over the years. The base is signed A.   • One-of-a-kind motoring collectible. Crafted by Rene Lalique, this solid bronze plaque was presented to participants, authorities and celebrities of the first Targa Florio, held on 1906. Image on relief depicting the winning Itala 35/40hp as driven to victory by Alessandro Cagno. Bronze plaque marked LALIQUE and BRONZE with correct hallmark, in very good to excellent condition.   • Silver plated Saint Christopher bronze badge, elegantly finished in multi-tone enamel over guilloche. It is interesting to notice how the blend of formats, like the round and rhomboid formats, results in a piece of attractive features. Diameter 40mm. Very good condition with a hallmark and inscription difficult to understand. This is the exact badge photographed and described in the book by Maximiliano Garay " Saint Christophe - dashboard badges of the golden era of motoring " on page 175.   • Silver cigarette case made by Birmingham’s silversmiths Henry Matthews and dated 1914. It is a fine and early automobilia item for tobacciana lovers. Gilded interior. Measures 8,5cm x 6cm aprox. Very good condition with sharp details. Some minor dings and scratches commensurate with the age of the piece. Correctly hallmarked inside.
